The untapped device you may have never heard of….

fitness-332278_640Inversion table is a special device that utilizes the gravity to relieve painful muscle spasms in the spine due to compression of its disc. It is used in inversion therapy by the people who have back problems. Back pain has become a problem to many people and apart from the use of the gravity boots and Yoga inversions, Inversion table are used primarily to treat back pain.

Inversion table is good for it is a source of short-term relieve to people with back pain since it uses gravity which relieves pressure and pain in the spine. While using the inversion table one does not have to hang completely upside down which might be the case with other therapies since individuals lie downward at an angle. This makes sure that the user is safe.

Inversion table has the following benefits:

1. Inversion table relieves back pain. Inversion helps in the relieve of the general back pain. It is designed to use gravity that relieves the pressure in the spinal disc which may build up over time. The hanging down at an angle while using the inversion table with your head lower than the feet decompresses the spine hence relieving the built up pressure which results in the treatment of back pain.

2. Inversion table also relieves joint pressure thereby improving joint health. During the work out using the inversion table, your joints experience some stressing effect due to a high impact work out. This lead to elongation of the muscles hence the pain relief in the joint. This leads to decompression and enhancement of shock absorption in joints. For people who are suffering from join pains may consider using an inversion chair.

3. Inversion table helps in the circulation of blood. During the inversion blood flows in one direction. Hanging upside down also helps in the dis-congestion of the organs.

4. Inversion table stimulates lymph system. This helps in flushing waste from the lymph system since the waste flows in one direction hence clearing from the system during the inversion. This leads relieves pain that may be associated with the waste like lactic acid.

5. Inversion table helps in easing of stress. During the inversion, there is release of the tension which may be felt in the neck, back and shoulders. This as a result eases the tension and stress that may be cause the muscle spasms and the pain in the back.

6. Inversion table increases the flexibility. Joints are believed to lose fluid during normal days. This results to temporal height loss which brings the bones closer together reducing the range of movement. Inter-vertebral separation is increased during inversion since the disc pressure is reduced hence helping them to dehydrate restoring flexibility and shock absorption.

In conclusion, the inversion table has some disadvantages as it is not recommended to individuals with blood pressure problem, heart disease or even to pregnant women due to the upside hanging which makes the blood to flow in one direction. Inversion tables also requires another person to spot the individual hang from his or her feet and this becomes a bit tedious as you require to have a person to spot you as you use the inversion table.

The Dawn Of A Virtual Era: Microsoft Introduces The ‘Hololens’

1160569_87287157With every year that passes, it seems we are propelled further into a future we never thought we would live to see. Technology continues to make leaps and bounds in all fields. Those movies from the past, that took place in the future, are becoming true in the present.
Recently, at Microsoft’s ‘Windows 10 Event’, the company unveiled what it calls the “Hololens”, glasses/headband combo that allows the user to interact with holograms in real life. What that means, is that through the glasses, holograms are projected to the eyes of the person wearing them and the user can physically interact with them. So say you want to update the virtual to-do list on your countertop, or watch a virtual TV on your wall. The technology of Hololens allows you to do that with just a point of your finger.
The Hololens maps the room you are in, allowing you to move holograms at will and put them wherever you want. Essentially, it is making a virtual reality map of your actual healthy world, and then allowing you to manipulate add things to it…..

It goes further than that. The possibilities of what we may be able to do with this kind of futuristic technology would fill a bookshelf. If we step out of the personal life and apply this to the workforce, just think of the possibilities. Concept design, medical science, navigation, communications, the list of areas that would benefit from this goes on and on. It is important to remember those areas and stay aware that this device, while it looks really fun, is not just a toy, it could change the world as we know it!

Imagine if a doctor could actually perform a diagnosis by observing a full scale, accurate replica of what is going on inside you. Or if a filmmaker could work with 3D storyboards; take pretty much any profession into account and they could all benefit from this. Putting our eyes where before we could only speculate, is a huge benefit to humanity that the Hololens can offer.

In peoples’ personal lives, the possibilities are just as endless. Getting lost will be a thing of the past, with virtual maps literally at your fingertips. How about talking to someone whom you love that is far way, and having a hologram of them right there in front of you. Do-it-yourself home repairs that literally guide your hands where they need to go.

While some of these things are not yet featured, it is only a matter of time before we start seeing more and more from the Hololens, and Microsoft is very open to ideas and suggestions from the public. The product and technology is relatively new to us, the consumer, but Microsoft has been developing it for years. Thousands of people have worked to perfect it’s performance and now it is becoming available to the masses.

The Hololens is due to hit stores within 2015, and could be ready as early as February. However, at first it will only be available on Windows phones, and hopefully the headset will be made available shortly after. Whatever the case, this is definitely a new and exciting era we are entering.

Windows 10 is on its way!

Hand over keyboardIn a technical Presentation held on September 30, Microsoft introduced a new operating system for notebooks, desktops and mobile devices which is named Windows 10, and revealed more details on the upcoming system.

A detailed explanation was given on how the system will work with a variety of different devices:Touch screens, laptops and stationary, and how the will the synchronization between them work. The known start menu was returned to the new operating system, with the integration of the tile interface. And yes … Microsoft also explained what they anticipate to be the future of operating systems .

The official name of the system is Windows 10, and it will be launched in 2015.
Microsoft revealed many of the new features of the system including the return of the Start menu,
Multiple operating system tables, and a new search crafted system.

Why is it named Windows 10 and not Windows 9?

The most frequently asked question is why the new OS is called windows 10 and not windows 10 ( as the previous one was Win 8)? So if you ask Microsoft they will say it’s just more than adequate. But there are more convincing explanations for this. One of them is that windows 10 sound “better” than windows 9.

Windows 10 – products.

So the new system is not just an ordinary system but also  a real huge technological improvement to the previous OS. It will connect family of products in one system. The OS will be running on stationary and mobile computers, tablets, smartphones, and Xbox 360 console. So it will run seamlessly on a variety of products and hardware devices.

Microsoft will combine elegantly tiled interface keyboard and mouse users will be much more comfortable to work. Such as Microsoft from a previous operating systems and users will be much more comfortable. The new interface will be called hybrid graphics and can manipulate the normal use of the keyboard and mouse and using a touch screen. Microsoft demonstrated that when Windows 10 will work on a touch screen interface Metro will then And when we sever contact the facility are to “normal” then the interface will switch to the desktop with the menu “beginning”. There is a new feature which will offer Search Search by relevance locally and also offer built-in Internet search.

Start menu touch screen

The Start menu is returned but the touch screen menu itself will change as a tablet.
To make it easier to browse through the system. Windows Snapping – the arrangement of the windows on the screen and how they interact with each other.

Micorosoft improved this feature so that it is easier for the user to work in it.
When we put on a window screen, Windows 10 we will know how to fix it correctly on the screen and user friendly. So supplemented entire screen (see screenshot).
That is, on one screen will be present at the moment of the 4 different applications.

Changing the behavior of the application.

Microsoft’s App Store is like the Apple appstore. Windows 10 will change the previous system and will appear in a separate window. It will actually be understood in desktop software and will be standard operating table.
Will be run through the desktop or taskbar or from the Start menu. Everything will be done through the control bar which is present on the top left side of each window. So that we can minimize it or close the application. Control of the same applications each window that opens. And would be impossible to enlarge them or Lmzarn or resized.
